On to the stones:
The cover of stoneworld has a very cool new building on it. The new museum in Liverpool is clad in Jura Limestone, which is an otherwise fairly consistent material. Jura Limestone is very German, clean and uniform. What is interesting is that they have done something simple which has transformed the look of the facade. The panels are in a 3-d pattern which uncovers the variation of the stone when seen at a different angle as well as "shadowplay" (respect to The Killers). The effect is remarkable when viewed at different angles, not to mention the overall design of the building is quite interesting, especially after considering the location in the middle of the Liverpool docks.
